Once the final design is approved by the client, the contract is signed for the project and plans will be developed. Various billing options and terms are available to Sterling clients, however typically an initial deposit is required, followed by monthly payments for work as it is completed.
We use a change order format that ensures all requested changes to the project are clearly outlined and any costs associated with the change are brought to the client’s attention. Clear communication is our goal and both parties must review and sign-off on any change prior to execution.
Carl will personally handle your home project from start to finish. Throughout the process he and his team will provide regular progress updates through phone calls, e-mails, and face-to-face meetings.
The construction process will vary with the size of the home, client goals, and the selections made. Once we have a good understanding of the client needs and requested timeline, we can establish a construction schedule that meets those needs.

Typically once we discuss the home and review the plans we find there are elements that need adjusting in order to create the client’s dream home. Throughout the home building process we will assist you with selecting products that best meet your needs and fit the project budget. The products chosen do not need to be the most expensive to be of high quality. There are many factors that go into product design that affect the quality. Some products that have a comparable service life may cost significantly less due to design and materials used. We will help guide you through the product selection process to ensure the choices you make will provide you with excellent service and will stay within the project budget.
